How to opt out with Amber Signal Workshop
This page explains how you can ask Amber Signal Workshop to limit or stop certain types of contact or processing that relate to this Website. Because we are an information and comparison site only, our control over your data is deliberately narrow.
We do not operate casino accounts, process deposits or run marketing campaigns on behalf of operators. Requests about your accounts or communications from casino brands themselves must be sent directly to those operators.
1. Email contact from Amber Signal Workshop
By default, Amber Signal Workshop only contacts you if you choose to reach out to us, for example through our contact form or by email. We do not run a regular marketing newsletter for the general public.
If you have been in contact with us and no longer wish to receive replies or further follow-up from Amber Signal Workshop, you can ask us to stop.
To request this, email: support@ambersignalworkshop.com with a clear subject such as “Opt-out request” and tell us:
- The email address you want us to stop using; and
- Whether you want all further replies stopped, or just certain types of follow-up.
2. Data and contact we cannot control
Amber Signal Workshop cannot manage or cancel:
- Casino account marketing emails, SMS or push notifications.
- Operator-specific self-exclusion or responsible-gambling tools.
- Casino account closures or re-openings.
To change these, you must log in to your casino account(s) and adjust your preferences or contact the operator’s support team. Many UKGC-licensed operators also provide direct opt-out links within their emails.
If you are concerned about the amount of gambling marketing you receive from multiple operators, consider using the UK-wide schemes and blocking tools mentioned on our Responsible Gaming page.
3. Cookies and browser controls
The Website may use cookies or similar technologies to support basic functionality and to understand, in a general way, how the site is used. You can usually manage cookies using your browser settings by:
- Blocking some or all cookies.
- Deleting cookies that have already been placed.
- Receiving a warning before cookies are stored.
If you choose to block certain cookies, parts of the Website may not work properly. For more details, see our Privacy Policy.
4. Requests about your data
If you want to exercise rights you may have under data protection law (for example, to request access, correction or deletion of personal data Amber Signal Workshop holds about you), please contact:
Email: support@ambersignalworkshop.com
To help us locate your information, include:
- The email address you used when contacting us; and
- A brief description of your request (for example, “Delete my past contact messages”).
We may ask you for additional details to verify your identity before we act on a request. We cannot access or change data held by casino operators – those requests must go directly to the relevant operator.
5. Stopping gambling across multiple operators
If you want to take a stronger step and limit your access to many UK-licensed gambling sites at once, you can consider:
- Registering with GAMSTOP, the free national online self-exclusion scheme for Great Britain.
- Using device-level blocking software to restrict access to gambling sites and apps.
These services are independent of Amber Signal Workshop. We cannot manage them on your behalf, but we strongly support using them if you feel gambling is becoming hard to control.
6. Changes to this Opt-Out page
We may update this Opt-Out page from time to time, for example to reflect changes in how the Website operates or to align with updated legal requirements. The latest version will always be available at https://ambersignalworkshop.com/opt-out.html.
